Stodghill's Petition for Post-Conviction Relief Denied

David Stodghill
More than six months after David Stodghill initially filed an appeal to have some of the charges he pled guilty to overturned, Judge Albert Masland denied the petition.

The post-conviction collateral relief process, the last possible appeal a convicted felon has in the appeals process, has a success rate in less than 5% of cases according to various online references, so the judge's denial in Stodghill's case is of little surprise.

Had Stodghill prevailed, it is estimated that he could have been released one year earlier than our projected date of February, 2015. Additionally, and perhaps more critically for Stodghill, it could have reduced his lifelong status as a "sexually violent predator."

As usual, we welcome any additional info on David Stodghill's court status and criminal history by emailing
